Hi all,

I just got back from a short trip to Walt Disney World. The North Garden rooms at the Contemporary are GONE! A cast member from Narcoossees and a cast member from the Contempory did confirm that they are building DVC rooms there.
However, when I asked DVC reps, they claimed to be clueless.

So, just reporting news that "something" is afoot at the Circle K. uh, I mean, at the Contemporary

yea they have been putting up something since last Nov.

hoping it is DVC. but it might be suites. MK needs some more suites. so this might be a solution to that problem.

that say NO - it needs to be DVC. waited over 13 years for a monrail DVC and want it NOW.

I would love to see a monorail DVC, too. As far as suites go, I think Disney needs to finish off Pop Century and make those all Family Suites. Families of 5 (like mine) have little few economy choices at Disney.

the Pop will be finished. Work is surpose to start this Oct. that say rumor has it that the builder won the law suit and the building will be what the original plan had - another words rooms not suites.

so after the building is complete - Disney may then change part of it to suites.

the CR suites would not be economy at all!!!! So dvc would be a better option - my opinion.

I was at the "World" in August, and as I was boarding the monorail, I asked a cast member if he knew what was going on w/ the construction. And his answer was...get ready for this.."Disney's best kept secret"! Can you believe that? And I didn't believe that he actually confirmed it!
Can't wait!

Like I have said before last month at the Contemporary a very reliable Cast Member told me 100% it's going to be a DVC building and in the past she told me about the new location for the arcade, when it was located in the Food & Fun Center and when everyone said I will believe it when I see or it, or wait until WDW makes an official announcement. Well we all know that turned out to be true, so I am choosing to believe this Cast Member again when it comes to the DVC info.

I really hope this is true. We are planning on buying in to DVC in the next year our first will be BCV because well we love BC. But with the idea of adding a few smaller children to our family I sure would LOVE a monorail DVC. I would prefer Poly but know that is not gonna happen at this point so I would be very happy to buy in at CR. You can't beat the location with little people .
