My plans are all over the road for this trip the last week of August. I have a 1BR lake view at BLT booked for DH and I with the possibility of our DS (20) joining us. Last night DH told me he didn't want to share a room with DS, he needs his own room. :confused3

SO, back to the planning board....

In your opinion and why, which is the better room of these two choices? Prices are the same for 2 adults for 7 nights.

TIA!!:flower1:

There is some confusion here. A BLT Deluxe Studio and a Contemporary TPV room are just one shared room space. Only difference is bed surfaces.

If you want separate space for your DS's possible visit then you should stick with the 1BR at BLT as it has a Master Bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the den/living room. This would provide separate space that DH is wanting.

Hi Dave, I do realize that these are just hotel rooms.
I'm now needing to book 2 hotel rooms since DH doesn't want to share space with DS.
DH said that the 1BR is too close; he needs his own room.

So, I was wondering which room was better since both were TP view and the same price.

I would go w/ whatever is cheaper. If you go to two studios, you lose the kitchen and will have one bathroom instead of two.

The TPV room at the Contemporary is a much larger space if you don't need the kitchenette in the Deluxe Studio.

The TPV rooms in the Contemporary are located in the main tower right above all the Contemporary activities. The Deluxe Studio has a Queen bed and a fold out sleeper sofa with a microwave, toaster, some paper plates. The BLT can be reached by a glass enclosed wakway from the 4th floor of the Contemporary common areas, the 4th floor of the Contemporary more food options and easy access to the Monorail just an escalator ride up from the 4th floor.

Thanks, Dav, that info helps a lot. I didn't realize that it was a queen bed in the BLT studio. I think that and the overall larger size of the room swings that debate in favor of the Contemporary.
