Contemporary to WL?

Trying to plan ahead. We will be staying at the CR in June and thinking about having dinner at the WL one night. What is the best way to get there? Is there a boat that goes from the CR to the WL? Thanks in advance for the info.

Yes they have smaller resort boats Blue Flag Boats that rotate between WL-Ft. Wilderness-CR they usually have one boat going clockwise as the other is going counter-clockwise. Just make sure you board the correct boat going directly to the Lodge, unless you would enjoy the ride to Ft. Wilderness campground first.

The boat ride is quite enjoyable! You will love it! You very well may want to go to FW one day...there is a petting zoo and pony rides, and it is neat to just walk around and check out.

We always take the boat to the CR and walk around, hop on the monorail...it is great to have that transportation option.

Kitcat thank you so much for that great link. I am staying at Wilderness Lodge and eating at the Poly one night and then going to MVMCP. I figuered out how to get everywhere and how to get back. Great thread..thanks again.

Just remember to factor in park closing times...forgot that factor on an odd January trip (usually go in the summer when everything is open late) and took us a long time to get back to our hotel.
