I just read on another website, that there is a seasonal boat that goes from CR to WL. I'll be going the end of January.

My plan was, take the monorail from Epcot to TTC, then take the monorail to Contemporary and check that out. Then, I'd like to go from CR to WL. Is there a boat that goes from CR to WL year round, or do I need to go to MK and take the boat from there to WL?

The WL to CR boat is year round. The only time it wouldn't run is if the weather is bad.

What about CR to WL? Does it make any stops?

The weather has to be really bad for it not to run.

There used to be a launch that ran from FW to Poly. One Sunday morning in Feb we took this launch. It was rainy, windy, and cold. What a miserable trip.

As for stops, I have seen them run 2 boats one going CR-FW-WL-CR, the other going CR-WL-FW-CR. So if they are running two boats and yuo don't want to go the long way around just check where the nest stop is.

I've been trying to figure out when this launch was suspended: during the late '80s?

The boats (there are usually two running) shuttle between CR, WL and FW. One boat goes CE, WL, and FW. The other goes in the reverse direction.

The boats that run from Contemporary to WL and FW are smaller boats.

The boats that run from MK to WL and FW are much larger and more comfy in extreme weather.

If the weather is rainy or cold, I would get back on the monorail and ride around to MK, and catch the boat there. If the weather is clear, even if it is hot, then the boat from Contemporary is fine and will save you time.
