Contemporary Resort Renovations

I am looking at taking a Disney World trip in the fall. I want to stay at the Conmtemporary Resort. However, I keep reading mentions of a renovation at this resort coming up soon I love this hotel but prefer not to stay in a "construction zone." Can anyone provide some insight about what is going on at this hotel?

I haven't seen or heard anything about CR rehabs but here is a good link to check out b/c it has a listing of what will be closed for rehab, when it will be closed and for how long. Deb's page rehab schedule 2005

There was mention of the CR rehab in the DIS January Newsletter, but no timeline was given. People who have talked to CR castmembers report that the rehab is just in the planning stages at this point.

I too was considering a stay in Dec. and I decided to stay somewhere else. I didn't want to take the chance.

Mandy--If you go to the first post at the top and click on the pink box that says Thread Tools, there's a spot where you can subscribe. I usually just search for the threads where I've posted.
