Contemporary resort question

I'll try to explain this clearly...at the contemporary, on the ends of the resort are what looks like balconies that are part of a stairwell. You can see them from the 4th floor observation deck, but I didn't know if anyone can access them. It almost looks like they are part of the emergency staircases. I was wanting to get a picture of the castle, space mountain and the monorail. But to get the monorail in the shot, I'd have to be above the 4th floor deck. Or at a minimum, it looks like it would be a good place to watch wishes if the 4th floor deck is crowded.

No, you can't reach them. I believe you would have to go through fire doors to get there.

It's been a couple of years for me, but we watched the fireworks from there a few years ago after a Chef Mickey dinner. We walked right out of the 4th floor lobby, and went up the stairs on our right side. We went up maybe two or three levels, so maybe 6th or 7th floor. If you go to google maps, someone took a 360 picture from that deck and you can see the stairs and their accessibility on both sides.

They are in fact fire doors or an outside staircase intended for use in case of fire...Guests in the resort often watch the fireworks from this location.... if you are expecting to walk out during wishes and find no one you will likely be wrong so to say you would get a good picture from here is hit and miss as you will have people in front or very close next to you...

Yeah I just saw that. I also found a blog post someone did and he showed the same views. I'll definitely add it to my to-do list when we go down.
