Contemporary Pool Renovations

Has anyone heard that the main pool at the Contemporary Resort is undergoing or will be closed in the near future for renovations? We have a trip planned for May and would hate to stay at a resort that has the pool closed.

I have not heard of the pool being renovated anytime soon or in the future. My guess is if they were going to do that it would have been done by now, based on all the other renovations that have been going on. Although they could be planning on renovating it later on so we just got to wait and see if that would be happening.

Maybe what you heard was about the new pool being built along with the Kindom Towers there (DVC)? The new pool construction won't affect the old pool, as I understand it.

I am going in May too and I'm really looking forward to a little pool time.

Would the guests staying at the original hotel be able to use that 2nd pool?

If guests staying at the Wilderness Lodge can also use the pool built for their DVC villas, I assume it would be the same thing for the Kingdom Towers.
