From those new pictures of the new villas being built, are they adding monorail lines, or is that just a bridge?

Hi everyone! I am enjoying all of the pics of the CR. I stayed there back in 1976! I am finally going back to stay there this coming December and I am looking for more pics of the garden wing standard view "views". I am kind of dreading the parking lot view and I guess I am trying to see what this view really looks like from the room. So if anyone has pics of that, please post them and have a magical day everyone!

Thanks for all the great pictures!! I dont know much about the CR, but my husband said last night he wanted to go back to Disney next year and I really want to stay at a resort on the monorail! So, we are looking at CR now!

I agree. We are also going to have a Garden standard view. Would LOVE to see pics as I cant find any.

Me too - Ditto! I want to see more pics of this ...I dont even care if I have parking lot view, because I know the monorail will be so close by and the rooms are gorgeous inside, but I too wonder how the view is....purely out of curiosity.

Ditto for me too!!!!!!!!!! Just booked a standard garden wing last night....I haven't stayed here since I was a kid so I am looking forward to seeing the new rooms....I'm wicked excited!!!!!!!!!!! You gotta love the convenience factor here!!!!!

Hmmm..no one wants us to see those pictures of the GV Standard lol Let's make a deal....I nominate Mikki ( since you will be there before the rest of us--I think!) to post some pics for us when you get back. If you get upgraded at check in - GREAT! but if not, let's have a look at what we can expect! Now that I've made final payment, I am getting really more and more excited! I know I've seen those pics your looking for. Did anyone go back through this thread? They may be on the regular Contemporary thread too. They are here somewhere because we are thinking of booking a GV room if we can't get CL.

Dawn, I think there are pics out there that I have seen of Garden wing Garden View, I don't recall seeing any of the Wing Standard rooms anywhere though. It's funny--I know I stayed there when I was a kid and I remember staying at the Poly when I was a kid, but I have no memory of the rooms. I am one of 6 kids and when my parents took us to Disney, we had 3 rooms at every hotel we stayed at along the way also! I think the rates for Poly and Cr were about $79 a night ( at least that is what my mother recalls) The whole 2 week driving trip, where we stayed and saw many other sights along the way and 3 nights CR and 3 nights Poly cost a total of $2000 back in 1976 for the 8 of us. 2 of the kids were under 10. What I most remember is eating breakfast at crystal palace and riding Space Mountain. That had nothing to do with these pictures but it just came to my mind!
