Contemporary in January

Alrighty, folks . . . I'm getting confused by conflicting information about the dining options in the Contemporary. I hope to make reservations there for January, but don't know what will/won't be open. Does anybody know for sure if California Grill or the Concourse Steak House will be open the first week in January??

The Concourse Steakhouse is set to close next April and there is no renovations plan for the California Grill. If it makes you feel better here is the schedule of renovations for the Contemporary, so you can read it for yourself.

August 2007 - Newly renovated Fantasia Shop will re-open.

June 11, 2007 through November 2007 - The Lobby will undergo partitioned refurbishments to update the area's image and decor.

July 2007 through October 2007 - The resort's grounds will undergo partitioned refurbishments to install new landscaping and re-route existing guests paths.

July 30, 2007 through April 2008 - The Food & Fun Center will be closed for major renovations. The location will re-open as a new table service option, "The Wave". During this time a temporary counter service location will be operating on the Grand Concourse level near the Outer Rim Lounge.

April 2008 through August 14, 2008 -The Concourse Steak house will be closed for major renovations. The location will re-open as the new Counter Service location for the resort. During this time a temporary counter service location will be operating on the Grand Concourse level near the Outer Rim Lounge.

I have a ADR for Cali Grill Jan 3rd. I have not heard of any other renovation other than Concourse. The wouldn't renovate more than one at a time anyway.

We have a reservation for 10 adults and 1 infant on January 7 at the CG. The Concourse shall be gone by then Perhaps the new TS will be open in January?

If you did not see it on my previous reply I posted the schedule of renovations and it says the Concourse Steakhouse is not closing until next April, which is when the Waive is suppost open where the Food & Fun Center use to be. So I will post the schedule again.

Don't worry about it. I guess after reading so many threads on Disboards the odd time you might misread or not see the answer when it's right in front of you.
