I will be going to WDW and staying at the Contemporary with my brother and his wife. I will be arriving a day earlier then them. Their flight arrives the day after in Orlando at 11:10. What time do you expect them to arrive at the hotel? They will be taking Mears shuttle service to the hotel. Also I would like to lounge around in the sun while waiting for them. Is there some place that I can lay around and have them find me easily? Or can I leave their room key at the desk and they can check in whenever they arrive. That way I don't have to wait around the hotel for them. Any suggesstions?

Hi, if your not going to any of the parks in the morning, why not have a nice breakfast in the resort, then put on your bathing suit and hang around the pool. Bring a good book, grab an iced coffee and bask in the sun. I just love to do that. You can also do some shopping in the many stores the CR has. I love that resort. Have tons of fun.(the pool area isn't that large that they won't be able to find you). But, if you want to wander off grounds, leave their key with the front desk, this way they could check in whenever they get there.

If their flight lands at 11:10, you can't expect them to leave the airport before noon. I'd probably expect them around 1 pm.

I too would hang out at the pool with a good book (and lots of sun tan lotion). You shouldn't be that hard to find there.

It won't be hard to find me at the pool? I have never been there so I am not sure how big the pool area is.

Now let me see if I can describe what you are seeing... At the top left of the picture is the Bay Lake Pool, which is not always open, it depends on how busy things are. The main pool is in the center of the picture with the water slide (and I think there's a hot tub near the stairs to the water slide but I can't remember for sure) nearest the main tower building. To the left of the picture (which you can't see because of the trees) is a building. That's where you can pick up towels and I think there may be lockers or restrooms or maybe a snack bar there rolleyes: sorry! it's been a couple of years since we've been there).

There's a sandy beach area between the Bay Lake Pool and the main pool and just at the top right of the concrete area before you get to the sand is a water fountain play area with water jets shooting up out of the concrete. On the picture you can just make out a light blue area in front of two green umbrellas.

If you wanted to wait for them near the pool, you could always designate a general area. For instance, nearest the sand, or nearest the slide or over by the towels, etc. As you can see from the picture, the area is pretty contained so it's not too hard to locate someone.

Thank you Kelly. The picture does help me to see that they will have no problem finding me. This way I don't have to waste my day waiting for them to get there. I can waste it in the sun instead.
