Contemporary elevator

we have 3 rooms booked at contemporary garden wing garden view for our upcoming trip. My dad is extremely claustrophobic and will not get in an elevator. Will he be able to access the food court area, bus stop, and monorail stop without having to get in an elevator? He is 73 years old and could go up a couple flights of steps but not much more than 2 floors. We requested ground floor for his room.

Bus stop is on the ground level, where you walk in from the garden wing
Monorail is up but it's via escalator (as long as you aren't on an ECV/wheelchair, etc)
Where you may run in to problems is reaching the Contempo Cafe. I have only gotten there via elevator. There is an escalator up near The Wave but I can't recall if it takes you to the same floor as the restaurants/stores or not. I'd guess it does since folks have to have a way down that doesn't require an elevator (in case of fire, etc)

Yes. There are stairways in the wing building if needed, and escalators in the tower building to access the shops, restaurants and monorail.

Only issue would be if you planned to eat at California Grill. Elevator only to top floor.

Escalator definitely takes you to contempo and chef Mickey. Well, multiple escalators.
