This Disney Moms have posted misinformation before. Some of their responses have mysteriously disappeared once Disney found out about them. They are just stating their own opinions and what they state does not represent Disney's official position or statement.

Oh, please, these people provide the most incorrect information all the time. I'd never take anything they say as fact. They know so little about Disney it isn't funny.

Kind of like the people who drive the boats, the monorail or buses. They hear good rumors and pass them on as fact. Like the one about the Dolphin and Swan were supposed to have a monorail running through them where the large black squares are on the outside of the building. Totally false.

She's the same Disney Mom who suggested renting points from Daddio to save money for your vacation. That post was removed very quickly. I think this one will be, too. I'm so surprised that they don't have someone from Disney checking out the mom responses from time to time.

I "know" a Mom, in the online sense. They have very very little oversight, and are quite independent. Knowing the Mouse's penchant for wanting to control every little detail, I was very surprised.

Disney has officially announced, some time back, that what they are building will be DVC. The structure is moving rapidly and the views will be great.

There have been no details as far as price, when it will be available for purchase, etc. yet.

When was it announced? I know that there's a lot of evidence pointing to it being DVC, but I thought it was still just unofficial rumors.

I never heard this from any CM's, but I recall seeing a satellite image of Disney property in either one of the early incarnations of Innoventions or the teacher's store before it became the Art of Disney at Epcot. On this image (which was about 6 feet tall), a proposed monorail line was included on this map that was supposed to run from the Epcot station, near the Crescent Lake area, and onto the Studios before circling back.

Like I said, never heard this from cast members, but I saw this myself and the proposed monorail line would have added over 4 more miles of track.

Of course throw all this in with the many other rumors. Anyone ever heard of Tuxedo Junction?????

I am hoping you are using hyperbole here, but can you define what "all the time" means??? I read the Mom Panel "all the time". I find I disagree with their opinions some times. But disagreeing with an opinion and making a statment like you are that they are "providing the most incorrect information all the time" are two very different things. (because EVERYONE out here is right 100% of the time... )

Would you care to give us some examples of them being incorrect "all the time"??? Unless you have proof for making absolute statements like this...keep them to yourself and stop bad mouthing good people.

Actually rumors have it that CRV announcement will be pushed back(July was the original date) and could be more expensive than AKV on a per point basis.

They may be lovely people, however, multiple times I have checked things out on that site and found incorrect information. The Mom who wrote about the Contemporary DVC was also the one who wrote that you can rent points from DVC members and advised them to rent from Daddio (only she used his website instead). This was at the height of the commercial renter fiasco last summer (or was it the summer before). She's not a DVC member and really should defer the DVC questions to one of the Moms who is a DVC member since there are a couple of them.

I haven't been to that site recently, just looked up the post about the Contemporary DVC to see which Mom posted it. All I know is that everytime I checked that site out, I found incorrect information. Just one reason not to visit it.

When a Disney novice goes to this site for information about their upcoming WDW trip, they should always get correct information. That's why they need someone to check the "facts" they post there.
