let me know how it was
You said you got back on the 19th. Was that in November? Was there much in the way of Christmas decorations that were lit up when you were there? How about the Osborne lights, were they on yet?

Yes, it was November 19th and most of the Xmas decor was up. In fact, we went to Mickeys Xmas party. It was great. The Osborne were up and running and timed to music too. PM if ya have any other ?s. Or better yet take me with you as a guide :thumbsup2

Well, as a couple of former New Jerseyans, we would love to have you guys along, but we already have a full {DVC resort} house this trip, so maybe next year. And we will probably PM you with a few more questions before we go....Thanks! :)

so I think I'll throttle some CMs :teeth:{yes, it's a joke!} to see if I can get them to spill some of the beans on what's going on over at the CR.

Except they probably have no beans to spill :confused3

…Work on the Contemporary Resort's North Garden Wing appears at this time to be asbestos abatement in preparation for demolition in the near future. Rooms numbers for accommodations in the wing have been removed from the reservations system. We'll keep an eye on it to see what happens.

We were there from Nov. 4th - Nov. 11th. Walt Disney World had a lot of Christmas decorations up, trees, lights, garland, etc. They also had the Osborne Spectacle of Lights up. While we were at Disney MGM Studios, they had a preview of them. It was totally awesome. My Husband & I had seen them before but my Parents had not. It was really cool being with my Parents and seeing them. They all came on. After the initial cheering and clapping, we heard alot of ahhhhh, oooohh, wow, etc. It was a magical moment in a magical place. :wave2:
