We're going to the Contemporary July 1-5th for a convention. The rate is excellent, $135.00 a night. I just called and it's a standard room and the CM was kind of snotty when I asked if there were any upgraded rooms available at a similar price.
I guess the standard room won't be that bad but I feel like because I'm getting a good rate going with this convention we're going to be treated like second-rate guests.
We usually stay at the Dolphin or Swan with the government discount and have had awesome rooms there plus we can use our SPG points for upgrades.
Should I be concerned or will it be ok at the Contemporary? We're bringing my daughter's BF with and he's never been there before and I really wanted him to be impressed.
Thanks.
