Contemporary Convention Center?

Hi all!

We'll be attending an event this weekend at the Contemporary and we assume it will be held at the convention center. We have never been to the convention center before. We don't think it's connected to the Tower, so does it have it's own parking area? What's the best way to access the convention center?

If you are standing in front of the CR with Magic Kingdom to your left, the convention center is on the right side and built out from the main building. The parking lots are connected if I'm not mistaken and you can go thru the lobby or enter from the outside of the convention area. Really a pretty facility. I went to a convention there in 1997 and we will be having another one in 2008 at CR.

Thanks! I know about where is located but I've only ever parked in front of the North Garden Wing rooms so wasn't sure if there was a parking lot near the Convention Center. We aren't staying at the CR so will be driving in.
