HI! I HAVE A QUESTION. HAS ANYONE STAYED IN THE CONTEMPORARY TOWER CONCIERGE? I AM CONFUSED ABOUT THE FULL CONCIERGE (14TH FLOOR) AND THE CONCIERGE LIGHT (12TH FLOOR)? HAS ANYONE STAYED AT EITHER THE 12TH OR 14TH FLOOR? I HAVE READ THAT THE 12TH FLOOR DOES NOT OFFER THE SAME THINGS AS THE 14TH? ALSO, IF YOU REQUEST THE 14TH FLOOR, ARE THERE ONLY SUITES ON THAT FLOOR AND CAN YOU GET A ROOM WITH TWO QUEEN BEDS. I KNOW THESE ARE ALOT OF QUESTIONS, SORRY! I JUST DON'T KNOW WHICH IS BETTER! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!:wave2: :wave2:

Hey there!

Im a contemporary Vet! :D I have stayed there tons of time so I think I can help here.

The 12th floor has always been my home away from home. The rooms are just like all of the other Contemporary Rooms. Most include 2 queens and a daybed. A nice continental breakfast, cookies and brownies in the afternoon and coffe and lemonade all day. The Concierge is there until early evening to help with PS and just about anything else.

Now from what I was told a month ago on the phone by CRO, the 14th floor is home to both suites and regular rooms...but these regular rooms are slightly smaller and DO NOT include a daybed. I assume that since the contemp is an A Frame building the higher up you go, the smaller amount of room if you think about it. Now this is bad for my travel party since we are three single adults who prefer our own beds. I am told the 14th floor serves more (and better so I am told) foods including hot foods at lunch and dinner time as well as desserts made by the chefs at the California Grill on the 15th floor as well as cordials to cap off your night. The concierge is also availble for longer hours (until 10:30pm if I am not mistaken.

Hope this helps you out some!

YOU HAVE ANSWERED EVERYTHING I WANTED TO KNOW. THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR REPLY. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING IN JULY. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!!;)

I've stayed 14th floor concierge 3 times. I believe the single rooms can be made part of a suite if someone wants a 2 bedroom instead of a 1 bedroom. We've always had 2 queen beds. The regular rooms on the 14th floor are the same size as the rest of the tower but the because the bathrooms are larger and the balconies are larger then the lower floors, the sleeping area is slightly smaller. Because the sleeping area is smaller there is no daybed. One of the nicest things about the 14th floor is there is a concierge lounge that has 2 balconies overlooking the MK. So even if you get a Bay Lake view you can still use the balcony in the concierge lounge to castle watch. In fact, we request the Bay Lake view so we can watch the Electric Water Parade from our balcony and then we go over to the lounge balcony to watch the fireworks. Some other benefits of the 14th floor are check-in and check-out on the 14th floor without having to wait with everyone else in the lobby; a concierge staff member who handles only the 14th floor guests; a refrigerator in your room stocked daily with soda, water, and juice; and nightly turn down service without having to request it.

I've never stayed on the 12th floor but I have heard that refrigerators are not standard. You can get one but you have to request it. Also, there is no lounge but they set up the food and have a concierge staff member stationed right outside the elevators. Food service doesn't last as long as it does on the 14th floor. One big disadvantage to the 14th floor over the 12th floor is the hefty jump in price. Hope that info helps you out.

THIS INFORMATION SURE DOES HELP!! I GUESS THE ONLY THING LEFT TO DO NOW IS FIND OUT THE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE BETWEEN THESE TWO FLOORS. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!
