Contemporary Conceirge ??'s

I am planning a short (3 night) trip to WDW and was wondering about the Contemporary Conceirge. Anyone stayed there recently?? Thoughts???

We have stayed at both the AKL and the Poly and loved the service at both. Is Contemp. about the same service?

We stayed in the Contemporary Tower a few years ago, and we were going to stay there in Concierge, this June, but the kids thought maybe try the BC, since they are more intrested in Epcot, and MGM now that they are older..........but!!! before I switched over the the BC, I had really checked heavily into Contemporary Concierge. I do know, that there are two floors of concierge there. the 12th floor and the 14th floor. The 12th floor is called the Club Floor, and although I hear it is nice, I heard if your gona go concierge you should stay on 14th floor. Lots of food, and drink. Refrig in your room(no extra cost) I was told they started charging 10 dollars a day for a fridge on 12th floor concierge. They refill your refrig every day for you. You have turn down service, the views of the Fire works in the lounge or from your balcony are incredible. The balconys on the 14th floor are also much bigger than 12th and rest of hotel. You have a continental breakefast in morning........light snacks for lunch..........wonderful food for the evening (straight from the California Grill) cordials, and deserts at night. I also found out that the Contemporary Concierge was one of the only ones that had beer out as one of the beverages..........My Travel Agent said the service from the CM was wonderful. Hope some of this will help you a little bit.

I was told they started charging 10 dollars a day for a fridge on 12th floor concierge.

just thought I'd share with you...that over the past 2 years I've spent about 5weeks in the Tower Club...and have never been charged this...also, the balconies on the 14th are the same size as the 12 unless you have a suite I believe...I agree the food offerings and the hours that the desk is staffed on the 14th (or full concerige) is more expansive than on the 12th.

I also spent time at the AKL concierge this past December and thought their conceirge was quite good.

I don't think you can go wrong with the CR thou!...Have a great visit!

Do the still have beer?? I was told beer was no longer offered at any concierge - this might make a difference to my DH.

Just going by the the what the Travel Agent told me, and by what the brochures showed, plus all the picutures that I have seen from others on the boards........Glad to hear that they are not charging for the refridg!!

Not sure about the Beer.........the info I got a few months ago included it...........but this may have changed since!!

vacation, I am also trying to decide on whether or not we should stay at the CR. I've heard different things, good and bad. But it sounds quite convenient with the monorail right there.
