We booked a one bedroom suite at the Bay Lake Tower in the Contemporary, but I'm uncertain about the layout of the room. We've never stayed there. Anyone we've asked when calling Disney said they're "pretty sure there's two beds in some of the bedrooms on the Bay Lake side." We need two beds in that bedroom for us (the parents) and a bed for the kids. My father needs to sleep separately due to intensive snoring, so he's sleeping on the pull-out in the living room area. Anyone know if there are two beds in any of the one bedroom suites in BLT?

I could be wrong, but as far as I know they all have a king bed in the master bedroom. The living rooms have a pull out couch (sleeps 2) and a pull out chair (sleeps 1).

As far as I know, all the 1 bedrooms have one King bed in the bedroom, queen sleeper and a sleeper chair in the living room.

Yes. All one bedroom villas at BLT have a king bed in the master bedroom, and a queen sleeper and twin sleeper chair in the living room. There are no one bedroom villas at WDW that have two beds in the master bedroom.

For what it's worth, even if your father sleeps in the living room, you'll still be hearing him pretty clearly in the master bedroom (I speak from experience).

I suspect the confusion comes because you were saying 1BR suite at the Contemporary. BLT is a completely separate building and room type, and has 1BR villas. The 1BR VILLA at Bay Lake Tower, as previously mentioned by others, is 1 King in the bedroom, and a sofa and sleeper chair in the living room area.

There is a 1BR SUITE with Club Level Access in the Contemporary Tower. Scroll down here and you'll find it: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/contemporary-resort/rates-rooms/. There are 1BRs in the Garden Wing, but they also have Kings. The 1BR in the Tower (Bay Lake View - 1BR Suite - Club Level Access) has 2 Queens in the bedroom and a Queen Size sleeper in the living room. In Value Season (i.e., cheap season) it's more than $1500/night.

So, be sure you know what you booked.

If it is Bay Lake TOWER, you have a villa.

If it is Contemporary Resort 1BR SUITE, if Garden Wing you don't get two Queens. If the Bay Lake View with Club Level Access, you get 2 queens and a sofa bed.

That's the difference then! Thanks! We are staying in the tower (with the lake view). I guess they put us at Club Access, because it is over $1,000 a night and they did say there would be 2 beds in that room. They also said something about it being a Suite.

Just make sure your reservation says Contemporary Resort. If it says Bay Lake TOWER and not Bay Lake VIEW, you have a villa.
