Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower Transportation for evening EMH

What are the transportation options for Contemporary/Bay Lake Tower guests after evening EMH? I know I read awhile ago that the monorail would no longer be running during EMH-is that still true? We will be staying at Bay Lake Tower-how long is the walk and how crowded is the path after MK EMH? TIA!

The walk from MK to Bay Lake tower is very easy and very convenient. It's no more than 10 minutes, and much easier than the monorail, which disembarks at the Contemporary so you must walk from there to BLT as well.

The monorail does often run during MK EMH. The days of reduced monorail hours are mostly over, although sometimes you do see odd hours that don't align with park times. It just depends.

But from BLT, I would walk to/from MK 99% of the time anyway. The walk is a 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you move. It is rarely crowded and has its own security screening. The path is fantastic!

Agreed! The walkway between BLT and MK is never crowded and is really convenient. We came back from EMH at Epcot one night and they had a bus for CR and BLT since the monorail wasn't running. The bus stop is pretty convenient too because it's located in between CR and BLT.
