contemporary 14th floor question

hi, has anyone who has stayed on the contemporary 14th floor been bothered by any noise from the california grill from the floor above? they must have amazing soundproofing if you can't hear anything. unless there are no guest rooms directly below the restaurant. anyone?

Hi Francie,

We've stayed in a 14th floor room before that was right underneath the California Grill. I NEVER heard a sound from the Grill. It was very quiet. So don't let that bother you at all.

No, as a matter of fact we requested a Bay Lake view so we'd have the best of both worlds. The 14th floor concierge lounge has 2 balconies that overlook the MK. So we'd sit out on the lounge balconies to castle watch and to catch the fireworks and we'd use our room balcony to watch the Electical Water Pageant. The only thing we couldn't do was lie in bed to castle watch and that didn't bother us a bit. By the way, the concierge lounge balconies were never crowded. Most of the time we had the whole balcony to ourselves.
