i will be staying there aug20-23 i have a tower room reserved . any reviews on the rooms would help thanks:wave2:

They are one of the largest rooms-the decor is a bit loud but fun. We had 2 queens and a day bed. The bathrooms - 2 people can get comfortably ready at the same time. We had a view of the MK - DS loved to watch the castle change colors. DM stayed with us the last time so we had 3 adults and 1 child and were very comfortable.

We are staying there this year again-its DH & DS favorite resort.

We didn't fax in any requests but we did indicate a preference for a park-view room on the original reservation. We were moving from the Poly, so I went over early on the morning of the check in (before EMH at AK). I asked for a parkview room on a high floor. I was able to get a park view room on the 11th floor. It was great. There are only 4 of us but my 2 DDs (16 & 11) don't handle sleeping in the same bed well, so the day bed option worked great for us. (We were there during the last week of May). The bathrooms are large and have 2 sinks.

We watched Wishes from our balcony 3 times. We could hear the music most of the time. Got some great pictures by putting my camera on the railing to steady it.

We also liked the pool and the small boats. Laundry was easy and available in either Garden wing. (I put it in the washer, went to the pool and went back to put it in the dryers and then back to the pool).

We like the shops, although wished for more CR-themed merchandise. We also ate at California Grill, Concourse Steakhouse and Chef Mickey's. We got a fast breakfast in the Fun & Food Center every morning.

Have fun!!!

What was you room number and which way did you beds face? We stayed on the 11th floor last year and again are going in Sept.I would like to request a room on the 11th floor toward the MK with the MK view. Our room last time was great, but our beds were on the right when you entered the room so we couldn't watch the fireworks from the bed,but we still loved it,just sit our on the bal.

We were in 4738. Our beds were also on the right side, so we couldn't see the park while lying down.

I've read on another thread that the room has to be an odd number to be able to see the castle from your bed. So when checking in ask. I wouldn't call and request it, maybe fax 3 days ahead to amke the request.
