What do you prefer? We've eaten at Captain Cook's before and were happy with our meals. We are staying at BLT for the first time and curious about our quick service options. Are there any other QS locations on the monorail that would not involve us going into the parks? Thanks!

Both are great but I'd give the edge to Capt Cook's! When we were staying at BLT we ate at the Contempo Cafe quite a bit. We always found the food to be fresh and it was convenient. Capt Cook's is our favorite QS meal though and I like that they have more of a variety.

I think we'll be hitting up Contempo Cafe during our resort your before MVMCP. I've heard they have an amazing turkey & Brie sandwich.

That's a good question. Our next trip is at BLT also and we were hoping for monorail dining for quick service. With little ones and strollers, the monorail is so easy with on/off traveling. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I've eaten at both many times and prefer Captain Cook's. The food is ok at both, I just don't like the atmosphere at Contempo. It feels cold & like a cafeteria to me!

We eat at both every trip. I don't think Contempo is as crowded, and the dessert case is amazing. (fabulous cupcakes among other things) Love the flatbreads, and the breakfast burrito is awesome and will feed two!

Can't miss the Aloha pork sandwich (same pork as at the luau) at Capn Cooks, and Dole whip for dessert. Tonga toast for breakfast.

We really enjoyed contempo cafe! We had both of their "cold" sandwiches. I believe that one was turkey and the other an Italian sub. We really enjoyed it!! It much lighter than other meals. Both could be shared! I had not seen it on the menus online ( maybe I missed it), but they also have meals that are only served at dinner. There were a few pasta options and also a roast option.

My family loves Contempo Café! The flatbreads are the best I've EVER had and the salads are great too. We also like Gasparilla's Grill at the GF. The Caesar salad is the absolute best in WDW and we like sitting outside. Plus, as you said, there is Captain Cook's and it's one of our favorites too!

Thanks everyone for the advice and menu suggestions! I think both will be a must do for us:cool1:

Thanks for letting me know about Gasparilla's Grill! I had no idea that GF had a QS, we'll have to check that out too!

Between the two I would pick Contempo Cafe, good pizza , salads and sandwiches and the cupcakes are excellent!
