Ds is celebrating his 12th Bithday during our summer trip He has a fasination with the monorail and has always wanted to stay here, so thinking about booking a couple of days .WE have never stayed on site before couple of questions

is it ok to book through disney.com as the uk site didnt have the dates we wanted?

will they allocate us a room with two queen size beds as it seems some have one king ?(we are a family of 5) or should I book two connecting rooms?

This is the first time Dh has even considered staying on site so Im really excited:cheer2:

When we've booked the Contemporary we rang the central reservation number but you can also book at disney.com. If you are a member of the AA you should call the CRO number and ask if there are any AAA rates for your dates (this would give you 15% off rack rates) then check out the codes and rates threads on the Resort Board as they will post if there are any better AP or general public rates.

When you book you specify if you want a king or two queen room although as there are 5 of you they will only let you book a 2 queen room. If you can stretch the budget it really is worth getting an MK view Tower room as you just can't beat watching wishes from your own balcony, but even if you choose a garden room it's a great resort

Mention it's his Birthday to the Attendant on the Gate and they'll sit you up with the Driver.

going to get a quote thanks for the info:goodvibes

The CR is one brilliant resort . My son at the time was fascinated with the monorail coming inside the building!! I was too!!! Enjoy!

Me too! I'll always remember the first time Dad and I were sitting on the fourth floor having a drink while we waited for our room and all of a sudden the monorail was passing just over our heads!
