Yesterday I booked the Contemporary garden view for $235/night and POR for $114 with the Winter Code rate that expires today! I wanted to stay at CR for the last two nights, but it wasn't available when she went to book it, so we are staying at CR the first 3 nights and POR the last two.
I know my 4 year old will be somewhat out of sorts when we go from CR to POR, but he also is out of sorts if someone doesn't peel a banana to his liking. I'm curious to try POR after all the good reviews I've read, but will we be spoiled by the good transportation, etc., after staying at CR? The only other place we've stayed onsite is Swan/Dolphin and we love that location as well.
Also I requested a Mansion at POR. The Alligator Bayou section does not look appealing to me. The CM said it couldn't be guaranteed, but do I have a pretty good chance of getting it just for 2 nights March 20 and 21st?
Or should I just spend an extra $250 to stay at CR those last two nights if it's available?
