***Contemp. from DTD-trasnportation question

Hello!

We are surprising my younger brother for his birthday to a breakfast at Chef Mickey's.
Let's say our PS is at 10:00. We are staying off-site. We are going to be in DTD for a while beforehand (shopping, etc.) Instead of driving to the Contemp (and paying to park--please don't flame me!)) we want to just take a bus over there. How often do the buses run from DTD to Contemp? What time in advance should we get to the area where buses pick you up? Where is the area located where the they pick you up? If you have any other info PLEASE let me know!!

You don't pay to park at the Contemporary. You tell the guard you have a PS and where. Then you will be issued a temporary parking pass for free. You will be allowed to park directly at the resort for I believe 3 hrs. It would be much easier than waiting for buses that early in the morning. You would need to allow 1 hr transfer time before your PS, so you'd have to leave DTD at 9am.

Busses don't start picking up passengers from DTD Marketplace until 10:30am.

The busses will start dropping off between 9-9:30 when the stores open.

You'll need to do your shopping after breakfast. The shops are open late (11 or midnight) but I don't remember them being open before 10am.

You won't have much time to shop in DTD if you have a 10 am PS at Chef Mickey's. The stores at the Marketplace end don't open until 9:30 and the ones on the Westside end will not open until 10:30. Might want to save that shopping until later, or arrive at the Contemporary and do some shopping there.

How about on the flip side?? We are doing DQ with a PS for dinner at CMickeys. (Haven't made the PS yet, but looking around 4-5:30ish). How much time would you recommend leaving for a ride from DQ to Contemporary for Chef Mickey's?? 1/2 hour?? 1 hour?? ...more?? (I do realize if we're a little late, we still should be able to get a seat.)
