Contacts.

For my 15th birthday(last Sunday) My parents got me contacts. I have to go get them on Friday.
Anyone else have contacts? Anything I should know?

Always get in the habit of taking them out every night no matter what. I wish that I had done that because now I usually wear mine until i get an infection..... NOT GOOD!! Don't get in the habit of sleeping in them. NEVER wear them to the tanning bed.. the can melt to your eye ball! Other than that good luck!

I don't know how I survived without my contacts, I love them :]
It's uncomfortable to sleep in them. Not only can it give you infections, it just makes your eyes feel really gross in the morning.

I do swim and shower with my contacts in, just be real careful when rubbing your eyes. I lost a few contacts that way. Now I usually take my contacts out for my shower, because it sucks to have your contact in your eye and then get soap in it. LOL.

I want some, but I don't see myself as responsible enough to look after them.
Like keeping track of taking them out (you're supposed to start small and build it up right?) and cleaning and such.
I can touch my eyeball, I seriously have no problems with that, I could probably get them in (and if I didn't I'd probably start hissy fitting, I get angry when things don't work. It'd be like trying to tweeze that hair on my eyebrow that just WON'T come out).

I love my contacts at first I had th brand O2 optics and they didn't work for me so now I have Acuvu Oasis. They are great, I dont wear them all the time but I still love them.

Make sure you switch out the cleaner every time you take them out.

i've had contacts for a year now and they are the greatest things ever invented!

-you need to take them out everynight because one time i didn't and all the viens in my eyes were blood red and i looked crazy.

-make sure you keep them clean or you can get bacteria in your eyes which isn't good!

-uh... i keep a little bootle of contact soulution and a contacts case in my purse in case i ever need it. which i do very frequently.

and thats all i can think of right now.
