Contacting a Hotel Directly

We're heading down to WDW in mid-November and will be staying at POFQ. I am trying to contact the hotel directly to tell them that is our anniversary ( 2 years, we never had a honeymoon) - so it'll be special for my wife.

Is it possible to do this, either via email or by telephone? If so, does anyon eknow where or how to get this information?

Call them 3-5 days before arriving. They are usually very helpful at this resort.

You might want to contact the Disney Florist to have something delivered to your room. Just telling the hotel may not result in anything at all. If you want something special to happen, plan it and pay for it.

BaciBeck and Deb & Bill - tanks for the kind words and the advice. My wife DEFINITELY deserves something special for putting up with me for 2 year that's for sure

I made reservations (9pm) for a Saturday night at Califronia Grill. We both LOVE wine so we plan to have a bottle (or two), and catch the fireworks from the balcony area before dinner. We also found a few other good places to grab some vino by the glass (Jaki, Artist Pointe, Flying Fish Cafe) - hopefully the weather will be great and we can have the honeymoon we never had.

One quick question - what are the odds, since it is the slow season, of getting an upgrade to a riverview room at POFQ?

I've used them before as well and it worked out great.

Also, at some Resorts you can order a specil desert. Might be w threat on here about the Chocolate Cinderella Shoes - try a serach and I will too.

As for the upgrade to Riverview - mid November - is that around Thanksgiving? If so, it is quite busy then. There is also a POFQ Faqs thread :
