Hi there,
Does anyone have any recent (March 2016) pictures of the construction on the hotel next door? I'm trying to picture where it is. Is it located next to the wedding chapel or on the other side of Aulani?
How disruptive is the construction noise from the DVC rooms and pool/beach area?

Thanks!

Construction (renovation for the new Four Seasons) is located on the right side as you face the cove/ocean.

There is a temporary soild wood fence running down the property line .

You can hear the heavy construction at the pool area especially the adult area. You can see the heavy equipment over the fence at certain points.

We were in room 1206 on the other side of the tower nearest the construction and obviously did not hear anything.

I am here now . .haven't been disturbed by the noise in the past two days but haven't spent significant time at the beach yet.

The biggest downside of the construction is that it is right where the sun sets. We weren't bothered by the noise, and only noticed it when we were at the beach. Here's a photo from a few days agoconstruction.JPG ...

Thanks. Doesn't look too bad, but a bummer for the sunset views.

I think if you head over toward the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club (go left if you are facing the ocean) and walk up to the grassy part of the lagoon curve you would probably get an unobstructed sunset view, just fyi in case you were thinking of photos

We ate at Ama Ama the other night and had a beautiful, unobstructed sunset view (well, unless you count palm trees as obstructed views) Anywhere on the beach more towards the Marriott side seems perfect as well.
