construction on I75??

Has anyone made the trek from MI to FL on I75 just lately? I am wondering about construction. I looked up a route on Rand McNally to see what the estimated travel time would be and they routed me way over to the east coast and down so I tried yahoo maps and they did the same thing. Mapquest send me down 75 which is the way my family always went and is a shorter drive by 2-3 hours so I am wondering if there is some major construction somewhere that has the other places routing me the other way. I tried looking it up online but didn't see any real major construction listed for 75. Anyone have any idea? Would someone with AAA be willing to look this up for me and see what route they give from mid MI to Orlando? Thanks for all the help yet again

You can take the Turnpike from Orlando to Miami or go I-4 East to 95 South and that will take you to Miami also.

I think the MI is Michigan. We were on I-75 yesterday from Tampa to Naples and traffic was horrible but there was no major construction.

Hi there....I tried emailing you via the Disboard. One route was from West Michigan and one route was from East Michigan since I wasn't sure which side of the state you were leaving from. Sorry - I still had my old email listed, I have changed it to my new one. I hadn't been on the boards in years and when I came back to plan this trip I never thought to update. Thanks for trying though. I am off to the dentist but will be back on later today hopefully. I'm pretty much central in MI and we have always taken 75 and was surprised when the other two map sites sent me over to the coast. I just want to get there the fasted route. Thanks again.
