Yes, the slide has been constructed. It wraps around the steel structure TCD showed in his post. There is no sign of the water tower. The slide is pretty small looking. Not much to it bit one little loop.

The hot tub is down by the pavillion. It has tile on the sides so I guess it's getting close if they put that on already. I wish I could see the original plans before the economy took a turn. I bet the current pool was slated to be torn out. Guess we'll never know.

I think that the slide was designed for us Fort fiends who are a substantial lot. Either they were counting on that to get us going really fast in a short time or they made it small enough where some of us would get stuck thereby providing entertainment to the other guests, guess we will never know for sure.

I think they're planning on us Fort Fiends getting stuck in the slide, thus backing up any water that would be running down, thereby creating the "splash zone" underneath it for the wee ones. Talk about your budget crunching!

if everything goes ok today, the pool will open tomorrow at 10am. they may even do something tonight. just found this out from the higher ups..
