Great work!!! However, as an official deputy of TCD's ,you need to be up at the crack of dawn, find some way to breach that wall and get the photos that Enquiring minds need!!!!!

Hmmmmmm.....these walls look amazingly like the walls that were put up around the 20,000 leagues attraction. When they came down, the lagoon was gone! I predict the FW pool will be replaced by a Pooh themed playground.

The pool is still open. The construction is only in the pump house area. I assume they are enlarging it for the updated pool? The lifeguard said the construction will take place in stages.

This morning everyone had a letter on their site that says the pool will close January 19th and re-open in late March. It goes on to say the current pool has provided many years of enjoyment but needs a refreshing look.

It says you can either use the Wilderness Pool or the Silver Creek pool over at WL.

...and it said exactly the same thing except it didn't have a specific date, it just said mid January.

We will be at FWC the first week of Feb. and this letter came at least a week before we received our packet w/ luggage tags and vouchers.

Now I'm wondering how they are going to accommodate guests that want to take advantage of the pool at WL.

If anyone hears anything in regards to this I would appreciate a heads up. Thanks!

Mabe they will let you drive your cart over to WL. It would suck to take the bus or boat just to play for a while.

I took some pics over the weekend of the 600 loop, 1300 loop being worked on and today the pool has a chainlink fence around it and lot's of trucks and workers everywhere. I'll put some details to the pics tonight when we get back. For now here is a link to the pics.

With this expansion of the 600 loop...
I'm not getting it. (I know..no big surprise there.. ). We stayed in the 600 loop back the end of Sept. It was a small loop without a comfort station. We stayed on the side of the loop that backed out to the main road. In fact..we would drive our golf cart right to our site without even entering the loop..just scooted in the back of our site.
In this expansion...of the loop. Where does it start? As you enter the loop and the head toward the Meadow Trading Post? Are any of these sites going to have a water view, or view of the Trading Post?

Are they expanding the loop or the sites? I had heard it was the sites that were being expanded. I can understand how they would do that, but make the loop bigger? That would be interesting.
