Just back from a quick one day stay at Cabana Bay. Lots of construction going on around the hotel. We were in the Americana Tower overlooking the new Sapphire Falls Resort. Lots of noise during the day but it quiets down at night.
Biggest issue is self parking. The lot next to the Americana Tower is now closed for general parking. It's reserved for construction and for valet parking which we were told was included in the $12 daily parking fee (we didn't use valet). The other lots are pretty full due to the overflow.
The small check-in parking lot near the bus pick-up is also now being used only for valet. You can still pull into the circular drive next to the lobby for check-in. It was crowded but the valet will direct you to a spot for check-in/check-out. There were plenty of staff members managing the traffic flow, even at 7:00 am when we checked out.
My suggestion is to avoid the Americana Tower until Sapphire Falls is done (summer).
