I’m a little over a week out from my trip and have heard bits and pieces of info about the various construction projects going on. Would someone be able to summarize what to expect in each place, as follows?

- Downtown Disney
- Disneyland Hotel
- Disneyland Park
- California Adventure

I am aware of the Pirates, Tarzan, and Blue Bayou situations, and I know that Nemo Subs are closed, but any other info would be appreciated. Downtown Disney and DLH are my main interests if there’s too much to cover.

These are the big ones in DTD and DLH that I am aware of.

DTD- Construction at the south side of the west end of DTD due to removal of the old AMC movie theatre building (which also included Earl of Sandwich, Sugarboo & Co and the DTD West Starbucks so all of those are gone). You can still easily walk through this area to the DLH but there are walls up around the south side.

DLH- Construction ongoing for new DVC tower on the southwest corner of the property (between the conference center area and Frontier tower). There is a walled off area near the monorail slide splash pool and a portion of the pool deck area there is not available. I'm not sure you would notice the "missing" pool deck area that is now behind the wall if you hadn't been there before- it's not a dramatic loss, though the "blue wall" is certainly a different vibe than the lush tropical foliage around the rest of the pool area.

How much noise and activity there is from these construction areas will vary by day and depending on what they're working on.

We were there on May 3. Here is the pool area from our room, and the Downton Disney construction from E-ticket lounge. Sorry it's sideways!
We didn't hear any noise at all and the construction didn't bother us. This was a month ago, so I'm not sure how much it may have changed since then.
