Construction @ DL Hotel

We are planning a trip for the 1st week in August. It will be our first trip to Disneyland. We are trying to decide between staying at Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier. We are leanding toward DL Hotel, but noted there is construction/renovation going on.

Can anyone tell me how noticable the construction is? Is it limitted to one area or is spread out all over the place? A few construction walls here and there and a little noise are no big deal to me.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

What it is now campared to what it will be in August is very different. Now the grounds in the middle of the resort are almost in comlete rehab. For summer it will be mostly finished and the pools won't start thier second phase of remodel until the end of August.

As the rooms get remodeled by August there isn't going to be many left to remodel, limiting construction inside the hotel.
