Construction at Contemporary

Hi,
I am hoping to plan a rather last minute trip at the end of April for myself, DD(14) and DS (12). DH is not much of a Disney guy so we are leaving him home!

When I was there last May the construction was well underway at the Contemporary. How is the construction noise level there? I may opt to stay there over a value resort due to the closeness to the MK. (plus I haven't stayed in well over 20 years!) Also what are the pools like there? It's been so many years and I really kind of skip over that hotel when I visit lately. Any insight and help would be much appreciated!

Can't help with first-hand info regarding construction noise, but I can tell you that the main pool now has a slide...

The marina at this resort is really great with watercraft rentals such as jet skis and paragliding. Of course, they also have the little water mice and such.

Lots of pics of the rooms, pools, etc. The only current construction is the Kingdom Tower which will replace the north garden wing. They're done with the rehabs in the Tower until about June when Concourse Steakhouse will close to be converted to Chef Mickey's Express.
