Construction at AK?

We just booked 2 days in a one bedroom at AKV in the end of April. We were hoping to use our time there to unwind (more of an enjoy the pool/ resort stay.)

It has been mentioned that they are going to increase there construction hours. I was so excited to stay there (as we are thinking of an add-on but wanted to try it out first), but now I am a little nervous that maybe we should switch resorts for our down-time. Anyone have a recent experience there? Has the construction noise been bad at the villas? Should I expect it to be noisy during the morning? During the day?

While we weren't in a villa, we were in a regular hotel room on the 4th floor right under where they are presently working and that was just two weeks ago. The construction noise started abt 9 am and was always done by dinnertime. We were up well before 9 am so a little hammering and drilling did not bother us. No others issues besides the daytime noise for us and that was minimal. Hopefully someone who has actually stayed in a villa will respond.
