Consistency of Banana Bread Dough

It should be thick and just a little lumpy.
 
Sounds about right. Thicker and stickier than muffin batter... but not elastic and smooth like bread dough.
 
I've read it is supposed to be that way too. The mashed bananas make it that consistency. Although, I do have a recipe for a lighter banana bread, that is cakier. But, generally people think of banana bread as dense, rich & heavy.
