Consignment Sale ?

I am getting ready to do my first children's consignment sale here locally. It says that all of the clothes need to be hung on wire hangers. Where in the world fo I find those? I have looked at Dollar Tree, Target & Walmart and have found none. Does anyone know where I can pick some of these up? Hopefully cheap??

Just put the word out to friends (who aren't participating in the sale). I know I have a dozen or two in the guest closet that I'd be happy to give away.

Or maybe ask a dry cleaner if you can buy some? Do they have to be kid-size or regular full-size? I have seen some at our Wal-Mart, but if you already checked there, I don't know where else to suggest.

I know it's a long shot, but you might want to check your local thrift stores. One of the ones here sells bundles of wire hangers (about 25 hangers/bundle) for 50 cents.

I bought them at my local 99 cent store. The first time I went, they only had plastic hangers. Went a couple of days later, and there were wire hangers. I guess they were out of them the first time I went.
If you don't have a 99 cent store, I would ask at the Dollar Store if they carry wire hangers.

Ask your local dry cleaner. They may sell them.

I used to get all mine from folks at work. I'd put the word out and within 2 or 3 days have a hundred of them.

What consignment sale are you doing? I will be participating the in the local Just Between Friends (JBF) sale later this month, and they prefer that the items be hung on wire hangers. They usually post on their website where you can find the wire hangers - and in children's size too!! If this is a JBF sale, you might check the website for your local sale.

Our Walmart has them...not as many as the plastic ones, but they are the vinyl covered wire ones. I do consignment sales as well, and we have to pin the clothes to the hangers, and wire ones are about the only ones that you can pin without the giant safety pins.
