We will be visiting WDW this summer and have reservations at the BC in a 1 BR villa for 4 nites. However, we want to extend our vacation and stay a couple extra nites. I would really like to stay in the WL but I have some concerns. I'm concerned about our family of 4 staying in one room since my teenage daughter tends to hog the bathroom.

I was wondering if there are any public bathrooms in the lodge, so if need be, there would be another option in an emergency?

Is the toilet/shower area separate from the vanity or mirror for make-up and drying hair?

What would you do?

There are public restrooms near Roaring Forks. Also, the sink/vanity is separate from the toilet/bath in the rooms!

Welcome to the Dis!

You'll love WL! We sure did.

The tub & toilet are in one room, no mirror. Right outside, there is a little alcove w/ 2 sinks, vanity & mirror. It's set off from the bedroom, but there is no door.

Yes, you will notice the rooms at WL to be smaller than where you're staying for the 1st part of your trip. But the bathroom is no problem, as the above posters indicated. What type of room will you stay in at WL? I think it's a great resort (my favorite, in fact!). I like taking the boat to MK, renting boats and bikes. I also like how it is not a spread-out resort -- the bus stop, restaurants, lobby, etc., are all in the same proximity.

My plan may be of some help to you. I am an early riser, so I grab my WL mug, head to Roaring Forks for some coffee, find a paper and go out in the Courtyard. There are so many cool palaces you can sit. Then when the girls are done, I fly up and take my 10-15 nute shave and shower and we are off.

There are restrooms right by RF, so it works for me.

Thanks to everyone for the reassurance that the WL will work out for us. I really want to stay here. It sounds so wonderful.

My husband was the one that really wanted to stay at the BC. So dividing our stay between 2 resorts seemed like a good compromise.

We are staying in a standard view to save money since the BC is costing us so much money. I requested a queen room with bunk beds.

Thanks again to everyone.
