and I have a question. When it says a studio sleeps 4 or a 1 bedroom sleeps 4, how strict do you need to be when renting points from an owner? Or is this frowned upon? I have a family of 5 and don't really need a 2 bedroom villa.

There are a lot of threads and opinions on this. Policy states a studio or one bedroom will hold 4 (with the exception of AKV savannah or concierge hold 5). If you choose to put five in, you will not be thrown in jail, frowned upon or otherwise left to hang from the lobby railing naked however you will not be given any linen for the fifth person (no sheets, no towels, no pillow etc):goodvibes

MS (Member Services) will not take a reservation for a studio for 5 persons unless one of them is under the age of 3. A portable crib (Pac 'n Play unit) is provided for the infant. An owner would have to lie to get a studio reservation for more than 4 persons plus an infant. The 5th person would not get a KTTW card and thus would not be able to take advantage of EMH, ME or the DDP.

MS will accept a reservation for 5 persons(of any age) for a 1 bedroom at SSR, OKW, BCV, BWV, VWL, HHI or VB, but as drag 'n fly says, no additional bedding will be provided for the 5th person. Also as noted, the 1 standard and savanna view 1 bedroom units at AKV will officially sleep 5. A "sleep chair" is provided to accommodate the 5th person.

Since occupancy discussions often bring out the worst in us, please take any further discussion of occupancy to this thread.
