at Mitsukoshi in Japan. We are using this as a TS in our dining plan. Any opinions on this? We have done Japanese steak houses around here and the kids really enjoy them.

LOVED IT! It was my favorite last trip and the kids had a blast. I enjoyed the wonderful meal and the peaceful meal due to the kids being entertained. We are returning there for my 30th b-day dinner this year.

Love it. We go there on the last night of our vacation. It's been a tradition for years.

Teppanyaki is SO much fun and the food is SO good!

If you aren't on the dining plan- than I would go there for lunch b/c the lunch portions are the same as dinner and A LOT less $$.

The CMs are really nice and fun at Teppanyaki and the inside of the restaurant is really pretty.

Our favorite every trip. Families we've sat with who had kids seemed to really enjoy it also. Great food, and fun too!

My opinion? :thumbsup2

My DH's opinion? :thumbsup2

My DS8's opinion? :thumbsup2
We all had a fantastic experience! We all can't wait to go back!

We love it! It's a must do every trip! We like to go for lunch. Same food, cheaper prices. :thumbsup2

It is much like the Japanese steak houses that you are used to as far as the menu and service. It is very good. My kids loved it as well. It has become a regular stop.

I have mixed reviews. While I really liked it and would go back..I wouldn't say I would go back again and again. The food was good, nice and light, not at all a heavy meal. The chef we had did an OK job, nothing like some of the others we saw.

My DH didn't like it at ALL! The food was too light for him and they dont' really season it much, so he wasn't at all impressed. He also doesn't care for noise, and it was noisy in there.

The kids meal one of our DDs ate, the other wouldn't touch it. So, again a 50/50 split on that review.

I think it is worth a try for anyone that is interested in going.

How old are the children that have enjoyed this atmosphere? Was thinking DD8 will love it, but not sure about DD4.

We ate there last September and we loved it. Our chef was very good and entertaining. I wouldn't say it is any different though from your typical Japanese steakhouse so if you are looking for something different then I would try one of Epcot's other great restaurants.

We love it, a must do for every trip. DS chose it for his birthday dinner in October! We think the food is delicious and the chefs are entertaining. It is also nice to meet other vactioners who are also enjoying themselves.

I would say that families with kids ages 3 up were enjoying it. The lunch hours are very limited. I believe it is 11 or 11:30 to only 2pm and at the latest 3pm. Then the dinner menu prices take over.

We went last year and it was the the highlight of our dining for the week. My ds3 got a scared when they did a trick with the fire. If you have a small one you may want to prepare them for it and let them know it will be fun, because my ds was suprised and scared to death. But now he wants to go back. :thumbsup2
