Considering changing ADR's..need advice!

I'm pulling my hair out here!! Just can't decide what to do with our itinerary! And I'm thinking about dropping a Tutto ADR and getting a Mama Melrose ADR - am I nuts????

I'm considering changing around 2 of our days, Sunday, May 3rd and Monday, May 4th. Originally, I had this:

5/3 - Epcot during the day, Ohana dinner, DHS at night

5/4 - AK during the day, Tutto Italia dinner, Epcot for the evening.

Well, 5/3 is an 8 on the crowd calendar, with Epcot not rec. AK is rec. AK is early EMH on 5/4 so not recommended (we considered going for just the EMH and a bit after, but found out we couldn't drive there and do that). Also, sounds like Fantasmic nights at DHS are INSANE right now, so I think we want to avoid that.

So... I tried to switch Ohana (thinking we'd just eat at the Poly, where we're staying and then go to DHS) and Tutto, but no luck with Ohana - for 5/4 or any other night.

So now I'm thinking this:

5/3 AK during the day, Ohana dinner, Epcot evening for Illuminations, just wander WS a bit.

5/4 Epcot (Future World) during the day, DROP Tutto (???) and get a Mama Melrose ADR and do DHS evening EMH

I'm hearing good things about DHS evening EMH, and there's really only a few things we want to do there, so I think that we want to try it. I'm just so hesitant to drop Tutto for Mama!!! We will have our car, so we'll be driving to DHS regardless, but I don't think DH would be too thrilled to drive to Epcot just for dinner then over to DHS. (Forgot to add- we take a break each afternoon back at the resort for swimming, rest, DD's nap)

I also considered maybe trying for Wolfgang Puck's (we enjoyed it on our 2007 trip) - driving to DTD and then over to DHS.

Help!! What do you think??

Yes you are in my opinion. LOL You asked. Tutto is so much better than Mamma Melrose and I do like MM.
But if you want to stay in DHS than I would pick first is 50's Prime Time.

Well if you would like to do those particular parks on those days- I do NOT think it's crazy to cancel Tutto- but i DO think it'd be a little less than sane (but not crazy! ) to do Mama's just because you happen to be at HS. There are MANY better places to eat there and Mama's is as low on my list as Hollywood and vine and in my opinion the ONLY reason you can do fantasmic packages there is b/c the food sux and it's the only way to get anyone there for dinner!
But tha'ts just my opinion. I woudl do Brown Derby or even Sci Fi or 50s prime time- OR just do a counter service like Pizza Planet or something.

But I definitely think that park hours/preferences take priority over a dining ressie- UNLESS it's like your one must do for your trip.
So I would cancel tutto and do something else at HS- but i woudl NOT do mamas

OR just do a counter service like Pizza Planet or something.

Now that's a thought - just do a counter service that night!! Not a bad idea at all. Have to figure out what to do with that TS - maybe LUNCH at Epcot? Even Tutto?? Hmm...

I really enjoyed MM. I have an ADR for Tutto in March and I'm really excited. However, if you wanted to change park days then I would definitely go ahead and change it!

I freak out about this stuff too, don't worry!

Or..Since you said you were going to wander Epcot on 5/4 during the day, just have a lunch adr at Tutto and then go over to DHS and do CS for supper either at DHS or hop to Downtown Disney for a late supper somewhere.

Definitely will, thanks!! I'll book the new one before cancelling any current ones!!! I'm really considering doing Tutto for lunch and then just a CS dinner either at DHS or at Captain Cook's before we head over there. None of the TS at DHS really interest me and I really don't think we want to be driving all over, trying to keep it simple, LOL.

Just wanted to provide an update! I hated to ask DH about this - he isn't a planner AT ALL, so he thinks this is all crazy. But...I'm so glad I did!! I just couldn't decide. Tutto lunch sounded good, but then I wasn't sure I wanted a heavy pasta (which I would get for sure) in the middle of a hot day. So I talked to him, and he didn't know I had an Italian place booked and didn't want one at all!!!! Makes that decision easier, LOL!! The funny thing is - *I'm* the Italian one, not him, LOL. He's gotten so spoiled by mine, my Mom's and my Grandma's cooking - he doesn't want restaurant Italian. I'm actually not that picky and can enjoy Olive Garden or Mac. Grille, as long as I don't get just a pasta with tomato/marinara sauce.

So...anyways, we talked about some other options, and turns out he really wanted to go back to Wolfgang Puck Cafe which we did last time and he enjoyed. So I called and was able to get that for 5:30 (cancelled Tutto right away after booking) and then we'll drive over to DHS for evening EMH! And I can get pasta if I want - I've heard great things about the Pumpkin Ravioli!

Thanks for the input. Oh, and I REALLY wish DHS had some better 1 TS options!! Sci-Fi, Prime-Time and H&V don't appeal to us at all. BD is good, I'm sure, but 2 TS.
