Typically we do our entire Florida vacation at a WDW resort. We'd really like to check out LegoLand and Seaworld on our next trip. I'm thinking about booking our first few nights at a WDW resort and then heading offsite. Does anyone have any recommendations on a hotel/resort convenient to Seaworld and LegoLand?

Thanks so much for your help! :wizard:

Hi! There is no single hotel/resort that is convenient to both SeaWorld and LEGOLAND. They are 40+ minutes driving time from each other. You may want to look into the properties around Sea World. Some have partnerships with SeaWorld and provide nice benefits like Quick Queue passes and food discounts. We like the Marriott properties. The Residence Inn is decent, and Harbour Lake has fun activities for kids (although it is not a Sea World partner). There is convenient highway access from that area for the drive to LEGOLAND. I hope that helps.

They are in the process of building a legoland resort, that might help out, I am not sure when you are planning your trip for, but the resort is to open summer 2015 and it looks awesome! As the PP stated legoland and seaworld are 40 miles apart and can take about an hour to travel from one to the other with out traffic. Seaworld is about 15 minutes from Disney so you could stay at WDW and drive to seaworld for the day.

I agree with this. Unless you're trying to save money, it may not may a lot of sense to move during your Orlando stay. SeaWorld is an easy drive from Disney resort locations and Legoland is closer to the Disney resorts than it is to SeaWorld.

Thanks for the responses. I really appreciate it. Does anyone know if any of the Universal on-site hotels can accommodate a family of 5 in a standard room?:confused3

a double bed room allows 5 and kids being young you should be ok. You can rent a roll away but to save money you could make up a bed on the floor with extra blankets or squeeze them all in one bed. I think i read HRH some rooms have a sofa bed, check on Universal section on here
