Yeah, but nobody ever seems to be confused by his gender.

Since I turn 30 in a few weeks - what's 30?
Samantha was my first AG doll, so she was always my favorite. Felicity was the second one. I hold a special place in my heart for Felicity because my family spent a lot of time there (Williamsburg) when I was growing up. And I love Revolutionary-Era history. My girls have American Girl dolls. I just ordered my youngest a dress for Kirsten today. I, myself, would really like to have Felicity. I don't know why, I just really liked her. My other daughter has Samantha. The AG stuff is so expensive.
Me too, thank goodness. Although I feel a lot older.I don't know where all this birthday math leaves me...I really am still in my 20's.![]()
Glad to see ya here Mr Man. Someone on another forum the other day said before Hillary was definitely taking the SoS job: "It's like the 3rd Clinton term minus the Clinton."Huzzah,
I finally found the new thread I won't be able to keep up with....![]()
I have been busy traveling for work and haven't had time to keep up with current events (beyond the continued stock market woes).
Not looking forward to seeing what President-elect Obama's A team (previously known as President Clinton's B Team) is going to do about it......
The cartoon: How sad and yet how true.Communists? I was thinking of another word![]()
Here's a little funny since we're all caught up in the Christmas spirit. I posted it when I first joined, but thought it was more seasonal now...

BTW, I turn the big 4 - 0 in a couple days, and it hasn't bothered me until now. The last birthday that depressed me was my 25th - when I realized I was a quarter of a century old, and that I was born before man walked on the moon....blah! This one has me a bit down though. Maybe I can just stay an unofficial 39 forever....![]()
Hi! I know you said y'all went through a bunch of Reagan quotes, but did you get this one? It's one of my favorites. "I know in my heart that man is good. That what is right will always eventually triumph. And there's purpose and worth to each and every life."I work for a local GOP group and I need some good uplifting political Quotes. We send out weekly email updates and have decided to start adding a quote to the beginning. Googling "Republican Quotes" doesn't seem to bring much.
Help!![]()
I was watching that show earlier today andHappy Monday, everybody.
Am I the only one who did not have an American Girl doll, lol? I didn't even know they existed until I learned about them on Jon and Kate, Plus 8, lol. They seem like really sweet dolls, though. Are they more popular in the east and midwest? We had Cabbage Patch dolls growing up.![]()

If I just had some of Breezy's mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie, would that be a balanced dinner?
Alan Colmes seems like a very nice man, but he is dumber than a box of rocks. Sometimes it was painful to watch him, so utterly outmatched intellectually by Sean Hannity and virtually every guest they had on the show. Sometimes the "liberal" guest would look almost pained to be thinking "This guy is on our side? Good Lord, his brain is the size of a pea!"
I've also heard that Hannity is perhaps going to host the show solo, which I don't really like either. I'd like to see Kirsten Powers as the liberal host. She's smart (though, as a liberal, usually wrong) and tough, but not hysterical and unhinged, and she does not toe the line with the democrat party as Colmes always did. Sometimes she'll say "Yeah, the dems are completely wrong on this one (those are the rare times when she's right!), which is exactly what Hannity does. When the Repubs are wrong, he says so. Colmes never went against the democrat party talking points, not one single time. I just don't think he was capable of independent thinking. He had to be fed exactly what to say by the DNC. I'm glad to see him go. Whenever it was his turn for a segment, I changed the channel.
So is it just me, or does anyone else think of the WKRP in Cincinnati Turkey Drop episode this time of year?
"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!"
