Prayers coming your way.Tink sorry to hear about your husband hope its not to bad.
Could I ask for some prayers- Husband has been cancer free for a year but is still having issues with his lungs-more tests coming. So hard with the boys gone and having to keep them posted by e-mail.
Just coming on here helps keep me going-I always enjoy reading everyones posts. Thanks in advance.

There's probably not much they can do for him, either, besides splint it. He said he's hurting pretty bad. He was nearly in tears when I called him.OH YUCK!!!!! i'm sorry...broken fingers are painful. poor guy.

)DH had the exact same thing a couple years ago! But he met a doctor who came to his dad's church (FIL is Army chaplain) and he said to put popsicle stick on it and tape it for two weeks, it'll straighten right out.tell 'em to at least make sure it's straight (says the girl with the slightly lopsided right ring finger.)

we haven't heard. we only hear the amounts to be spent, but not the process being used. there was something written stating that each job created would cost $300,000.00. if that is really true, it would be better to give a large company a tax credit of that amount for each new job THEY create and a percentage of that each year for the number of years they maintain that position in their company. when i heard what's-his-face saying that the new construction jobs shouldn't necessarily mean hiring white, skilled construction workers, i wondered what the heck was going on anyway. i don't care what color a construction worker is, but i do want them to be skilled if i'm driving across the bridge they work on.
and yeah...the birth control, std stuff. come one...we all know what causes pregnancy, etc. no reason to spend that amount of money in relation to those things.
Hey, I think Bush and Cheney (and Rumsfeld, Rove, Gonzalez, Chertoff, Hawley, and countless others) are terrorists, but I didn't want them hanged. I guess I showed some sympathy for those two.
Sympathy... the liberal way.
I've yet to encounter sympathy (or compassion, or empathy) from a con I'm not related to... we must have the market cornered.
Actually, I have no opinion on that one. I plan on having absolutely NO children. EVER. NEVER.
Why should I? I'm trying to understand you, I really am. Hence, why the majority of my posts on the conservative threads are quite friendly. I'm not here to start fights... I just want to understand.
I said nothing bad about Bush then
I didn't say anything bad about him (other than saying I didn't care for him during the 2004 elections) until around 2005. And even then, I based what I said about him on my impressions of him and research. Not hearsay from political pundits, and slanders from the opposing political campaigns.
I wish I hadn't changed accounts in 2002, so you could pull up my posts from the 2001 election. You'd see, I said nothing bad about GWB then.
Heads up PR its not alllll about you. One comment, out of everything I said in that post was about you but none of it was directed towards you. But, since you brought it up, and everything I posted apparently hit a nerve, now Ill tell you: stop lurking. Oh, wait, you cant help yourself. Eh, then you and your friends need to learn to deal with it if youre going to lurk over here. I disagree with 99.99999% of the stuff on your thread and Ive seen several of you post things that I find very vile; but I dont invade your thread. I just deal with it. Like a big girl.
Like the sig.
