I crack up at the libs who pretend they've been under a rock and, well golly gee, they've just never ever heard any conservatives protest any of Bush's spending.:lmao: They're so full of crap.:rotfl2:

They will go to any links to say the words "it is Bush's fault".

Every statement from Obama starts with I inherited. And of course his following just love it every time. 4 years from now in the election they will be saying but but but it was Bush. Sadly many in the population are not smart enough to see it for what it is. They will take full advantage of that fact.

Out on the CB it is the 1 statement you can always count on "Bush did it". We have to spend all this money - Bush did it not us. We are perfect and know everything and well we just have to fix up what was left for us. :sad2:

They also like to forget the nasty little fact that the Dems controlled Congress the last two years of the Bush administration.

:rolleyes1

The talking point that has really got me shaking my head is the one where they say basically " Well Bush spent too much money so we need to spend more" How is that even logical? If it was bad for Bush to spend too much (and IMO it was) then why would it be ok now? I don't get it!

To me it sounds like well you got to spend money and we didn't so now it is our turn. Are we 5? Really what is the maturity of the us population?

I'll add that they also seem completely thrilled with being able to make fun of belittle and bully anyone who thinks anything differently than themselves. It doesn't make me respect them or listen to them when they do that. But of course they don't need me, oh wait maybe they do need my money!

They are in hyper-defensive mode, which makes them impulsive and unorganized in their responses, and they just come away with less and less credibility.

So I guess they were all for Bush's spending?:rotfl2:

If you do something, there are always consequences. If those consequences turn out to be bad, common sense would tell you not to do it again. You would never try and do it again on an even bigger scale hoping for better results.

So why would they think that spending more money, which we have to borrow, would turn out a better result. It is idiotic.

The Senate voted on the Fairness Doctrine today. The DeMint amendment passed 87-11 which banned the Fairness Doctrine, but Durbin’s measure also passed 57-41. It is a "backdoor Fairness Doctrine".

Just like we have been saying, the Fairness Doctrine won't be passed but it will sneak in the back door under another name.

Leave it to Durbin. :headache:

:scared1: Is he just totally mentally ill????? No one in their right mind would suggest that!!! No wait, he's not in his RIGHT mind.... that's us. He's in his LEFT mind with all the other freakish liberals.

Glenn is on Red Eye on Fox News in 15 minutes!!!!!:woohoo: Not that I think anyone is still up save for Honu....

I heard this on Rush yesterday. I'm just waiting for them to say anyone who makes over $75K is "rich" and needs to be taxed that much too.

Normally I wouldn't be too worried about these radical ideas but it seems like Obama is trying to completely ruin this country in his first 60 days in office.

Socialism? We talking communism.

How is the housing market rebounding.. if the mortgage interest and property tax deduction is gone?

Is Obama intentionally destroying our country's wealth? His policies sure make one wonder.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! I've been screaming Communist the whole time...finally folks are starting to wake up.

BTW, I haven't read back but did y'all catch Alan Keyes comments last night on BOR? Loved it! He said the Hussein is a radical communist who's trying to destroy america.......::yes:: uh, yeah - when are more folks gonna wake up to that fact?

The backdoor fairness doctrine dictating diversity ownership for media outlets is Disgusting to say the least! And don't even get me started on throwing the constitution out the window by allowing congressional representation for Washington DC.....what will they do next, allow all the major metropolitan areas to have representatives.

Someone needs to Fight for the Constitution for gosh sakes!!!!!! I'm stinking ANGRY.....:headache:

What I want to know is can/will this be challenged for it Constitutionality in our courts?

I have no faith in our courts but hope that it would make it the SCOTUS where it could get overturned.

It has to! BTW, are you gonna do us the honors of a new thread HB, or is someone else gonna volunteer? popcorn::

I heard that bo wants to take 100% of taxable income from people who make over a certain amount. :scared1:
How in the heck is that supposed to help anyone?! He takes all their income...what are they supposed to live on?!
Doesn't make me want to earn that much. And yup, that's communism. Let's hope he doesn't actually do it.
I can't find any links for this...does anyone know?

I think he means 100% of all income above a certain point. If that point is 5 million, all income above 5 million is taken, but they still have that 5 million (minus taxes on it at 39% or greater).

They are in hyper-defensive mode, which makes them impulsive and unorganized in their responses, and they just come away with less and less credibility.

:rotfl: ITA! I also love their responses to conservative statements. We're accused of receiving an e-mail or marching order from Rush, Hannnity, etc. :rotfl: I occaisionally listen to Rush or Hannity....,but please tell me who sends out the memos? I guess, this is how they get their "talking points" and " irrefutable information"? Does it come from "tingling-legs" and his comrades?:lmao:

Some have a very narrow and simplistic view of the issues. It comes to "I'd rather help poor people than have a war. And, "the rich people need to pay..." Of course, let's not forget the Christian bashing.:goodvibes

Hmmm... more and more hidden cons coming out each day. I had something on my Facebook status about watching GB on Red Eye last night and one of my friends in SoCal, who I didn't even know was a con, left me a comment talking about how much she likes Glenn and how she hates that she can't find more conservatives in the world. Who knew?? They'll be emerging more and more in the coming days, I truly believe. The Conservative Revolution is coming!

Yup. But you can't bring that up. :rolleyes1

I believe Glenn said it was going to be $500,000. I don't care what amount he intends to do that to; I think it's wrong, stupid, and it's stealing.

2 more pages....just saying.

Maybe it'll be like that Seinfeld episode where Kramer and the car guy tried to see how long they could go with the needle past empty.

How many pages past 250 could we go...?:rotfl:

That's great! :thumbsup2 If you guys become an "item" I call first dibs on Glenn as my boyfriend!

I believe Glenn said it was going to be $500,000. I don't care what amount he intends to do that to; I think it's wrong, stupid, and it's stealing.

It is stealing.

We are going to see people that can afford to do so, leave this country.
We are going to see big business that can afford to do so, leave this country and create even more job loss for Americans.

Our current government is stupid.
The people who support this are stupid.

America will become worse for this. It baffles me how many posters on this message board alone are blind to this; honestly don't understand this. So they start threads to make fun of us and to bash us instead of actually listening to us and understand how this is not a good thing for our country.

I'm sick of the lib's stating that the rich should be taxed more than their fair share. No they shouldn't. That's not fair. The already carry the tax burden for this country. Trust me; the poor don’t pay taxes. One day soon, at the direction Obama, Pelosi and Reed are currently taking this country, the average American will have to pay 40 something % of our paycheck back to the government like France or even 60 something % of our paychecks back like a few other European socialist countries. What are these lib’s, who like to go out and purchase the latest gadget or games, who like to take vacations to places such as WDW or DL, who like to be able to purchase a new car (maybe not a high-end car) but a new or a barley used car every few years, who like to have that nice looking house (again, maybe not high-end rich – but something large enough for their families to feel comfortable living in), going to do when over half of their income goes back to the government and they can no longer afford the lifestyle that they are accustomed to?

Can they sit down right now and look at their monthly budget; look at their monthly income; divide that current income almost into half and still pay their monthly budget? I bet not. Because we have been a Capitalist nation, our government taxes are extremely low in comparison to most other countries.

The average American, that actually pays taxes as we have a huge chunk that are too poor and don’t really, but the average person on this message board pays 15-25% in taxes right now to our federal government. Our rich – the ones that the lib’s keep crying need to pay more, more, more are paying in around 34% to our government. 34%. And the lib’s want the federal government to take even more from them.

The federal government is going to have to take more than 34% from all of us in order to fund these programs such as National Health Care – which will actually make our health care system worse than it currently is. So, we have to pay more money to the government, keep less for ourselves to live off of and go from having one of the better healthcare systems in the world to having a crappy pathetic version of it where there is no advancement in medicines (no money for it) no preventative treatments (no money for it) you have to wait four months to get into see a specialist after being diagnosed with something serious like a brain tumor (like Canada does – oh, wait. There are a heck of a lot more Americans than Canadians; it will be longer than a four month wait). My co-worker’s sister in-law (Canadian) couldn’t even get blood-work done to check on her fetus after discovering that she was pregnant. The doctor said no, it was too expensive. But the doctor could give her a home pregnancy test…. which the sister in-law had done at home in the first place to discover that she was, in fact, pregnant. We take routine bloodwork for granted here in the US, but no more. It will be too expensive for the federal government to pay for. People who want NHC don’t understand how much better our current treatments/services/medicines are in comparison to countries that have socialized healthcare. They don’t understand how much we will lose if we go socialized. They don’t understand that there will be waits –even up to weeks – just to get into see their primary healthcare provider… and we already complain about having to wait an extra hour or two when we schedule a doctor’s apt.!!!

This is why I could never be a lib. I can’t understand their logic; I don’t think that they have any logic. I don’t feel that they actually think things through. :sad2:
