I think we went in with the best information we had at the time. Everyone thought he had WMD's. And yeah, chemical weapons can fall under that. And I still think it's entirely possible he had them. Just because the worthless UN didn't find anything doesn't mean squat. You don't announce inspections and give him a chance to hide the dang things.

Polling data show that Mr. Obama's approval rating is dropping and is below where George W. Bush was in an analogous period in 2001. Rasmussen Reports data shows that Mr. Obama's net presidential approval rating -- which is calculated by subtracting the number who strongly disapprove from the number who strongly approve -- is just six, his lowest rating to date.



M.E. CohenOverall, Rasmussen Reports shows a 56%-43% approval, with a third strongly disapproving of the president's performance. This is a substantial degree of polarization so early in the administration. Mr. Obama has lost virtually all of his Republican support and a good part of his Independent support, and the trend is decidedly negative.

Glenn has been kidding that his ratings would suffer from everyone going to viewing parties instead of staying home and watching it.

I'm missing the party (1 of 2) here in my hometown but going to watch on tv (I have to sell GS cookies tonight and won't have time to go to the party, get the kids dinner, and get to the cookie booth -- darn kids).

April 15th is going to be huge as well.

I'm missing the party (1 of 2) here in my hometown but going to watch on tv (I have to sell GS cookies tonight and won't have time to go to the party, get the kids dinner, and get to the cookie booth -- darn kids).
