Has anyone posted the video w/ Sheriff Harry Lee and Jindal over on the thread that keeps repeating some TPM crap about Jindal lied? I just watched it and Sheriff Lee supports everything he said. Unfortunately, the Sheriff died in 2007 and this is, apparently, someone's home video, but it proves those TPM morons wrong.

Hey all

I just had a great idea. It came to me while reading the "government cannot give" thread. So there are tons of people on this board and in the world who claim to really enjoy the fact that the government takes money out of their paycheck to pay for social programs. They think it is wonderful that the government is going to raise taxes and add more social programs. Then there are folks who like many of us would rather make the decision on their own as to how much and to who they would like to be charitable. So here's the plan. Let all the libs no matter how much they make have their taxes doubled. They claim that the taxes are needed and they don't mind for one minute paying them. So let them pay them! That way the rest of us stingy horrible people could keep our taxes down and continue to give to charities or even to the government as we wish. If we choose to be greedy then so be it, if we choose to be generous then so be it. Wouldn't this make everyone happy ?? Don't you think they would be thrilled to pay the majority of the taxes??

Wow, after watching Beck today, I really like my original thread title idea. Let's keep it in mind for next time. I am loving how he is pissing off and ripping on ALL the politicians. He is going to be equally hated by both sides of the aisle.

Anyway, there was a darn clip on youtube where Sheriff Harry Lee reiterated what BJ said during the sheriff's endorsement speech. They must be afraid of him, they are so quick to belittle and besmirch the man. It is interesting to me that it is acceptable to the os to make ethnic slurs as long as the target is not a Dem.

Isn't it funny, we still have a little while before we start seeing who the Repub candidate for 2012 will be and the libs are already bashing Governor Jindal.... they're terrified someone like him will usurp their beloved Obama, is all it boils down to.

I just love when an OS says to me that they are also making over $250,000 a year and will be paying the extra and there okay with it and they can have more if Obama wants it...I just feel like asking them what color of kool-aid are they drinking.....either that or they are lying to me.

These tax hikes and other stuff will be cutting into the $$$$ we donate each year. And we donate a lot ...but we do it because we want to not because we have to.

Heck today I got a call from meals on wheels asking us if we can donate as we have the last 4 years of $2,000...we said yes but what will we be able to donate when our business is hit with all the tax hikes.

Beck is loosing it I keep waiting for his head to pop off he is so frustrated....glad he is on our side. I love to read the liberal thread and how they chat about Beck and Hannity and so on....yet they see there MSNBC as the words of Gods....they are so funny the liberals...sometimes I think they just need a hug ...lets all give them a hug...I'll go first hehehe

Dh and I went out to dinner the other night and met some friends that came into town....during our dinner politics came up and DH started going off on Obama and his policies and was loud when talking and we got some real dirty looks ...well our friends voted for him but dont really follow what is going on as we do...I told DH that he needs to be careful not to talk so loud because we to live in a blue state and we are surrounded and we may be shot

I read a great line on another blog that maybe you could incorporate into your next title : Who knew the Koolaid was so expensive?

Well, I for one have started to try and figure out exactly how I will cut back on expenditures because we make over the alloted amount and will be hit with an increase in taxes. I very much doubt that it will be as little as all those generous liberals are declaring. I have a feeling that when we add up all the deductions that will be eliminated that we will be giving more to the gov't than we will be keeping and that, my friends is socialism.
