Consensus on coffee at resorts...

Well, I would definitely say the "consensus" is a thumbs down. I looked at Meijer today and saw both the Maxwell House pods, and the small filters. Now the debate is Maxwell house with flavored creamer, or flavored coffee with vanilla creamer...life will be so rough on vacation. :) Thanks for all the responses.

Thanks for posting this...I love hearing the ideas :) I am going value so I will be bringing coffee from home...silly question...can I buy creamer at the resort?

I'm so glad that I'm a Diet Coke person by morning and a Labatt's person by night and don't have to worry about a good cup of coffee. :goodvibes

The coffee at WDW, with a few notable exceptions, is swill. :lmao:

We drink it if we're dining somewhere for breakfast because caffeinated swill is better than nothing, but we actually grind our own coffee at home and then pack individual baggies for each day of the trip so that we can have some good stuff in our room before heading out for the day.

Kona Cafe has pressed pot coffee that is very good and so does Boma ... the other places that I can think of right now are only open for dinner, but it's nice to know that they serve decent coffee in the evening to those guests who want it.

I don't know but after reading this I have to go fire up the coffeepot. It will be Folgers but I will gladly drink bad coffee in Disney instead of good coffee away from Disney.

I'm so glad I read this thread. I was planning on taking my electric tea pot, for my evening tea - but I'll be bringing my french press along for the mornings.

I may be the only person on here that thinks this - and I am a coffee addict (recovering - I have recently cut WAY back) but I don't mind the cofee at Pop Century. I've never found it that bad...

I bring my Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts French Vanilla from home. ALWAYS.:goodvibes

I asked this question in another thread and didn't get an answer. To be safe, we bought a box 50 single serve Coffee Mate creamers for about $7. They don't have to be refrigerated. I think you can get these at Sam's Club. We got it at a local party/restaurant type food supply store.

Perfect! I will do this...thanks so much!
