If this won't work or I have it figured wrong, I'm sure someone here can set me straight.
We have 6 nights booked and need 7 day tickets. We SO appreciate Disney's generous discount to troops. 4 day park hoppers for $196 (no tax if purchased on post) is awesome. Plus, a military member can purchase up to 6 provided member is present and using a ticket.
That being said...my DH just checked on post at Outdoor Rec. 7 day park hopper tickets are $429.

He,our son and myself are attending the 7 days. We won't be back before the offer ends.

This is correct, right: Best option is purchasing all 6 military salute 4 day tickets for $1176 instead of three 4 day park hoppers at $1287. We would save $111.
1. Are we allowed to do this? I know or assume DH will have to activate both times.
2. Can we connect tickets that will be used consecutively on our Magic Bands/Disney Experience account provided we have them in hand (I know you can for one 4 day) so we can plan Fast Passes for 7 days?

I'd love to save $111, but don't want to purchase and mess up 3 tickets.

Hope this made sense and someone knows if this is allowed and workable.
Thanks.

Our you can get your tickets from a discount website. We got our 7 day hoppers from park savers for $370.

I did back to back, as we used all 8 days. We did one with the water fun and more and one just with the basic hopper. Only thing I found was since you cannot add to each ticket, I could only book fast passes and link my tickets one at a time. So when we finished with the first four days, we added the next for days to our bands, and made fast passes on the fly. I would do it again, but I found for a few dollars more, I got a Stars and Stripes 7 day, and that met my needs. I agree, check with undercovertourist or other official resellers for a better deal on tickets than direct from Disney. You can also check the ITT office, since their regular tickets are sold tax free. Also, undercovertourist sells including tax in its prices, and free shipping in the US. Make sure you compare apples to apples, to get the best price for your family.

And thank you for your family's service.

Im so glad you asked this question, I'm planning on doing this for our trip in October. I have an annual pass but would get the 6 tickets for the rest of the family to use for our trip. I am going to take Lynne G's advice and check with the base to see what they have, thanks Lynne G for that!!

Hello! I apologize for bumping an older thread, but thought it would be better than starting a fresh thread... we're interested in purchasing the Stars and Stripes tickets, but do not live on a base. We were told that we can only purchase them once we get there. Can anyone tell me where exactly we need to purchase the tickets? This has made me very anxious as we cannot schedule Fastpasses without tickets :( Can we purchase online and link to our account? Or can do we have to purchase once in WDW? And if so, from where? Thanks!

You can now purchase them from Shades of Green and they will be mailed to you activated so you can link for FP+.

Have you considered just doing 4 days with water park and more? My kids like the water parks more than the theam parks... My son is almost 6 and we skipped the water parks this time and he as very dissapointed because he still remembered them in detail from when he was 3!

The 4 day park hopper and water park gets you 4 days in parks and 4 seperated days in water parks (or you can go to a water park on the same day as a theme park... We never have thought it was wasteful to use 2 tickets in one day... And too tiring). Just a thought you might not have considered.

Your idea works though and isn't cheating anyone!
